There’s just something about the historic charm and urban convenience that Sunnyside offers that can be hard to resist. By the end of 2016, Sunnyside and Highlands will also be served by RTD rail transit connecting these urban neighborhoods to both Wheat Ridge/Arvada and Longmont/Boulder, with a new rail station at 39th Avenue and Inca Street.[/lsvr_lead]

The neighborhood is represented by one of Denver’s strongest registered neighborhood organizations, Sunnyside United Neighbors, Inc. (affectionately called SUNI). Founded in 1989, SUNI has been instrumental in building community, renovating area parks, developing business zones and putting on neighborhood events and socials. SUNI works actively with the City on FasTracks, code and zoning issues, tree planting, liquor licensing, graffiti control, and neighborhood beautification. Additionally, SUNI stays connected with neighbors through our quarterly newsletters, new resident mailer, website and social networking sites. Welcome to the neighborhood![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
